The other file in this zip file contains a set of abbreviations supplied FREE of charge. These are for use with Global Abbreviations (tm) which is available via ftp on CICA and should be available wherever you got this file. Global Abbreviations itself is NOT free. If you somehow ended up with this file without having the Global Abbreviations program, skip to the bottom and read the product description. ***********How to Import These Abbreviations********** This set of abbreviations is very EASY to import into Global Abbreviations (tm). Just follow these steps: 1. Go to the Global Abbreviations Editor Window. 2. Decide if you want to import this set as a NEW set or include it with an existing set. It's up to you and how you work. 3. To make a NEW set: Select "File", then "New" from the menu. Go to step 5. 4. To ADD to the current set: Just go to step 5. 5. Select "File", then "Import" from the menu. This will bring up the Import screen. 6. In the Import screen, at the top left, under "File Types", select "Ascii Text Files". 7. To the right of this, under "Text File Interpretation Method", select "Literal" (the default). 8. Click on the "Do It" button. This will bring up a file dialog. 9. Select the file where the set of abbreviations is stored. 10. Click "OK". You've Done It! ******** Product Description ******** What is Global Abbreviations?
